Myanmar, more rustically known as old Burma, is indeed a magical place. With its vast barren landscape, reddish brown earth, thousands of millennial-old pagodas and images of Buddha, primitive agriculture activities and its amazing people, donning traditional costumes as everyday attire, seems to be a land lost in the golden mist of time. Inle lake is no exception, maybe even the epitome of the mysticism that we have experienced only in this part of Indo-China. We hope the photos we took in our Feb 2011 visit do justice to the real Inle & her wonderful people…
